 Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Parade

Mardi Gras is a great way to enjoy some exciting, family-style parades along the Gulf Coast. So join us at 10 am on Tuesday, February 9th for the Gulf Shores Parade as we let the good times roll along with many others looking to claim treats like beads, moon pies, stuffed animals and much more!

Who said the fun had to stop at the Gulf Shores parade? Once it is over you can stop at one of the restaurants in Gulf Shores or you can head on over to Orange Beach and enjoy a delicious, warm meal before attending the Orange Beach Parade at 2 pm.

Mardi Gras Helpful Hints

A few friendly tips for all those attending Mardi Gras parades:

  1. Dress in layers. Trust me when I say you can never be too warm!!!
  2. Arrive EARLY!! Crowds normally fill the street at least half an hour prior to a parade. Plus the roads close early in order to prepare for the parade.
  3. Bring tote bags for all the wonderful goodies you will catch.
  4. Please be sure to stay behind barricades. These are placed there for your safety!

Follow these tips and you are sure to have a fun, safe time at each of the parades being held along the Gulf Coast.

Attention Winter Guests… Come One Come All!!

Welcome to Snowbird Fest at the Orange Beach Event Center

Attention all Snowbirds!

It is that time of year again to put on your party hats and join us at the 6th Annual Snowbird Fest located at the Wharf in Orange Beach. Do not miss this amazing opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of vendors that will be present to make this a festival you will never forget. The best part about the Snowbird Fest is that it’s FREE! All you have to do is complete a survey before you enter. After you complete the survey get ready to spread your wings and fly!

Snowbird Fest in Orange Beach

The Snowbird Fest is designed to accommodate all the snowbirds that flock to the Gulf Coast during the winter season. The vendors have gone all out this year! There will be special giveaways and prizes to be won. Since this event is both a trade show and a festival you get the best of both worlds. Many deals will be offered on rentals, sales, dining, golf and so much more!

Tribute shows to the great Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers will be at the event for your entertainment! Dance along to the sweet sounds of both while you visit all the local vendors and take in the beauty that the Wharf has to offer.
Although it is worth visiting this event for the vendors alone, they have added a brand new feature this year. Snowbirds can register for a FREE bus ride, sponsored by Good Time Tours, to a Biloxi area casino. Since this is in such demand and space is limited the first 50 snowbirds who pre-register will do so for FREE!

Don’t be left out in the cold! Visit The Snowbird Fest or contact the Snowbird Company toll-free at 800-270-2457 for additional information.

Need accommodations for the winter?? Look no further. One of our friendly, professional reservationists will be more than happy to find accommodations for you.
