Fishing at Meaher State Park
Meaher State Park offers an abundant amount of fishing opportunities. The park has a 300-foot pier with a 200-foot “T” for all your fishing needs. Since the park is located on Mobile Bay you have access to freshwater and saltwater fish. An Alabama freshwater fishing license is required in order to fish, but that is merely a stepping stone to all the catches you are going to make. If you wish to bring your boast, no problem, there is an accessible boat ramp located on the Blakeley River on the east end of the park.
