The festival provides an atmosphere to promote all writers, whether they had written hit songs which made people open their eyes and view the world in a different way or they are aspiring writers and musicians who knew they could do the same but needed a forum in order to get their music out to the world.
Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival November 8, 2012- November 18, 2012 Perdido Key, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach The 28th Annual Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival showcases songwriters and musicians from all over the world–the songs performed by the writers who created them. The headquarters in 2012 will be the Silver Moon at Flora Bama, America’s “Last Great Roadhouse.” Songwriters will perform at venues along the Coast from Fairhope, Ala. to Pensacola, Fla. During this festival, concerts featuring Grammy Award winning songwriters and the up and coming stars of tomorrow is held where Nashville meets the white sands and green waters of the Gulf of Mexico in multiple locations including beautiful Pensacola and Perdido Key, Florida and Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama. Most venues are free to attend, a few charge a modest cover at the door. The Southeast Tourism Society has named Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festival one of the top 20 events in the Southeast.
