Gulf Shores Attractions

The attractions are unlimited on and near “Pleasure Island.” If you’re looking for fun and excitement you can start at Waterville USA. Take a dip in the wave pool or slide down a spiraling water slide just to get a rush. Top it off with a few go-cart and roller coaster rides and you’ve had your thrill fix for the day.

Hit the streets for a breezy stroll and check out some of the most unique souvenir shops around only a block away.  A good start would be Souvenir City. You’ll know it when you see it because you’ll enter the front door through a gigantic sharks mouth (also a great spot to take a memorable photo as well!). When you’re finished shopping, have some lunch at one of our most popular restaurants in Gulf Shores. The Original Oyster House is right around the corner and one of the best around we’re sure you’ll find (try some of their famous fried pickles!).

When you’re finally done eating, walk one more block to the beautiful sugary white sands of the Gulf Shores beach. Have a seat on one of the nearby benches to relax and listen to the waves while you digest your lunch. If you can overcome that tired feeling and hold off the nap, how about a free dolphin cruise? Nothing is more tranquil than unwinding on a pontoon boat and watching beautiful mammals you rarely get to see swim right up to your boat in their natural habitat.
