Blues Angels Practice at NAS

Location: The viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located behind the museum.

Time: Practices begin at 8:30 a.m. and last about an hour.

Price: Free to the public
 

The United States Navy’s Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron will again be practicing their air shows over NAS. In addition, following most of the Wednesday practices, there will be an autograph session with the pilots inside the Naval Air Museum. Bleachers are available, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs along with hats, sunscreen and water. Blue Angel practices are subject to change without notice due to weather conditions, flight operations or other unforeseen events.

2012 Brett/Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon & the new “Tri-it-on” Triathlon

The Triathlon begins early Saturday morning with a 1.5k swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 40k bike ride through the state park and finishes with a 10k scenic run. The new “Tri-it-on” Triathlon begins with a 300 yard swim a 9 mile bike ride and a 2 mile run. Join us for the awards ceremony and post race party at The Hangout
